Capunti is hand made durum wheat semoline pasta prepared with the top of the fingers (capunti means “by the tops”) to obtain its particular 6 cm long shape. This shape makes Capunti really good to capture the sauce, usually prepared with lamb meat and grated pecorino cheese. Typical from the Apulian inland.
