During Borbon’s reign in Soputhern Italy, better known as Regno delle due Sicilie Rosolio was being prepared according to a very old tradition. The first one was probably made with rose’s petals and citrus in idro-alcoholic solution. It was being offered during cerimonials (usually weddings). Its main characteristics are a light percentage of alcohol and an intense fragrance.
