Candele Pasta are a larger than bucatoni and they are like long pipes. This exceptionally long pasta (100 cm long) is dried, according to the old recipe, on a wood stick exposed directly to the sun light. They are served, almost exclusively, with fresh tomato sauce and basil’s leaves or in traditional “Pasta al Forno” (Pasta al Forno is prepared with boiled pasta with tomato sauce, mozzarella, boiled eggs, minced meat little bowls, grated parmigiano cheese, roasted in the oven.
